Born in America to African descendants, Nana Ankobeahene is Okomfohemma (Queen mother) of the Circle of Light Society. And Ankobeahene the first of the Konkonso Family of Abiriw Ghana. The founder of the Circle of Light Society. Nana Ankobea has trained several Akomfo and helped countless numbers of people receive healing, and hope. Nana Ankobea was introduced to Akom in 1974 by the late Omanhene Nana Yao Opare Dinizulu. He helped to inspire in Nana Ankobea a deep appreciation of the Akom. It was Nana Dinizulu that predicted through a spiritual reading, that Nana Ankobea would grow to be a strong Okomfo and birth many god-children. After remaining with Nana Dinizulu for a time, Nana Ankobea decided to embark on a universal search for spiritual knowledge which lead her back to the Sacred Order of Akom. Nana was then initiated into the Sacred Order of Akom by the late Okomfohemma Nana Oparebeah of Larteh Ghana. Nana Ankobeahene studied and graduated in 1984 as Nana Asuo Gyebi Okomfo and Psychic and Traditional Healer of the Nana Akonnedi Shrine of Larteh Ghana. This graduation took place under the guidance of Nana Okomfohemma Oparebeah's chief representative in America Okomfo Nana Nsia of New York and Ghana respectively. Nana Ankobeahene is a mother and grandnana to several grandchildren. And continues to birth spiritual children through Akom training. She is a teacher, healer, artist, writer and wife. In 1996 Nana Ankobeahene met Okomfo Nana Bekoe, and in 1999 Okomfo Nana Bekoe, and Nana Ankobeahene married. Nana Bekoe is a Motia Okomfo of the Konkonso family of Abiriw and was born and raised in Ghana. His father the late Okomfo Nana Debrah was a renowned Tigare Okomfo from Asuboa in the Eastern Region, and his grandmother Okomfo Botakua was also an Okomfo. Okomfo Nana Bekoe and Nana Ankobeahene work together as a team to continue to clear the spiritual path for others to follow. In 2000 Nana was enstooled As Ankobeahene the First, by Tufuhene Nana Asiama Bekoe. The Tufuhene of Abiriw and seven towns of the Okyere Region. The Okyere represents the Nifa division of the political Chieftain in the Eastern Region. Nana Ankobeahene was given the task of chief advisor to Nana Tufuhene. Nana Ankobeahene has studied various religions, and cultures in order to grow and gain the necessary wisdom to sit well upon the honorable stools of Nana Okomfo (Larteh Benkum) and Nana Ankobeahene (Abiriw Nifa) All praises due to Nyame the Abosom and Nsamanfo. |
