Nana Ofori is a graduate priest of the Akom tradition of Ghana, West Africa.  He completed his   
training as Bosumfo (“owner of the shrine”) from the Circle of Light  in Washington, D.C. in  
June 1994.  He is also completed training as an Odincini (“herbalist”) from the Shrine of Edja
Attah in Jamasi-Asante, Ghana in 1993. Since 1996, he has been a member of the Okomfo
Anokye Aduro Ye Kuo (Okomfo Anokye Good Medicine Healers Association) and a licensed
member of the Ghana National Association of Traditional Healers.

Nana Ofori presently resides in Lusby, Maryland within walking distance of the  Chesapeake Bay.
The facilities of his homeowners association include a beach, forest clearing and clubhouse that
are available for spiritual ceremonies and retreats. He his available for spiritual consultations,
marriage performances, and spiritual cleansing baths.


Nana Ofori makes his living as an attorney and a mortgage loan officer. He graduated from
Boston University School of Law in 1976 and Tufts University, cum laude, in 1973.
